Oh geeze. Thank you Bill. I have been meaning to do this... Next year I need to recruit someone to help me with admin as it's so much more work behind the scenes than you'd think... and hard to do it all late at night after the boys are in bed. This has carried over my giant to-do list for toooo long. Thank you for being GRACE to me! :) I'm very grateful!

Oh Pamela, you are too sweet. :)

I'm so glad I could help you celebrate Mothers Day well, by remembering that there is more to the day than just being spoiled. (Though I do hope you were spoiled a wee bit too.) x

Adriel,
Thank you so much for commenting on my site. (when I saw it, I gasped, thinking, (gasp) it's her!!!) :0) It was a sincere pleasure and honor to link to your article posted on (in)courage. Reading your article honestly made me take a sweet, holy pause and think reflectively and prayerfully about what Mother's Day meant for other women and I really appreciate that. As I said, it was a great way to start my Mother's Day. Your sentiment stayed with me all day and I had to let others in on it! So happy I found your site today. Looking forward to exploring it and getting to know your heart and ministry through your words. Many blessings on you and your family.

Yes, I do believe moms are saying the same thing in response - we are "enough" - and that's why I can see the good in all of this media madness. Moms need to verbalize those positive truths!!

Mmm...such good truth here. I often think "what in the world am I doing with these children, and why on earth am I their Mom!?" Nobody else should be though, and I'm a newbie too (this is my 4th) and have so much to learn.

The hype is all media, it seems to me, from all the articles and blogs I've read in response to the latest "mommy wars" we are all saying the same thing! It's okay to have different views on how to raise our kids and that we all only want the best. I think this could very well shatter any pre-conceived notion that it's a competition. Thank goodness for that, because while I'm competitive at board games and volleyball, I only want to care for my kids and not care for what others think of my parenting.

You just have a way with words my friend. Again, Happy Mother's Day!
